Museum Brandhorst, Sauerbruch Hutton (2009)

Galerie:
München
Beschreibung:
Museum Brandhorst (Sauerbruch Hutton, 2009). The façade, designed in a total of 23 different colours, consists of three different colour families. A total of 36,000 square, vertically mounted ceramic rods are placed at a slight distance from each other in front of the concrete walls. Depending on the viewing angle and distance, different optical impressions result for the viewer. The external façade was not only intended to achieve an attractive appearance, but also to make a significant contribution to energy efficiency.
