Reggia di Venaria Reale is one of the residences of the House of Savoy, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997. It is located in the municipality of Venaria Reale, north of Turin in the Italian region of Piedmont and is Italy's second largest castle.
The name of the castle derives from the Latin Venatio Regia, the royal hunt.
